is another 0-4-2T locomotive built by Paul Henley and names after his son, and is a twin locomotive to Samantha. This locomotive is based on a modified 'Hercules' design. This engine is a powerful passenger hauler, the engine is fitted with Walschaerts valve gear. Pictured here in 2007 at Willowbank station on a early evening run, with Jennie and Lizzie adding the glamour in between the coal dust. Stephen is the sister engine to Samantha pictured above.

Just to prove we embrace all locomotives types we offer something different, this is a fine scale model of a General Motors SD40 locomotive from the Union Pacific Railroad in the United States of America. The fully detailed and fully working locomotive is seen here near Willowbank station arrival platform with its owner John driving.

GWR 1400 Class locomotive GWR 1400 Class  – In service
The GWR 1400 Class is a class of steam locomotive designed by the Great Western Railway for branch line passenger work. It was originally classified as the 4800 Class when introduced in 1932, and renumbered in 1946.

Although credited to Collett, the design dated back to 1868 with the introduction of the George Armstrong 517 class.

is an 0-4-2T locomotive built by Paul Henley and owned and run by Mike O'Brien, this locomotive is based on a modified 'Hercules' design. This engine is a powerful passenger hauler, the engine is fitted with Walschaerts valve gear. Pictured here in 2005 following its overhaul at the arrivals platform at Willowbank station. Samantha is the sister engine to Stephen pictured below.

The BR Standard Class 7, otherwise known as the Britannia Class, is a class of 4-6-2 Pacific steam locomotive designed by Robert Riddles for use by British Railways for mixed traffic duties. Fifty-five were constructed between 1951 and 1954. The new classes were designed by Robert Riddles, and the basic design of the 'Britannia's owed much to LMS building practices.

Royal Scott class L.M.S No.6155 'The Lancer' LMS Royal Scott 6155 The Lancer – In Workshop - Overhaul
was built between 1945 and 1957 by John Martin Swindells of Mexborough. This was his 9th loco and the largest. Originally painted green named Royal Scot it ran at local parks and at the 'Farm Grounds' in Sheffield and Doncaster. The locomotive was sold to Alf Verity and brought to Malden in 1960. In 1970 Bill Brown at Malden aquired the loco, the loco eventually passed to its current owner Ian Proctor in June 1981.
